Does anyone know WC Markets for this CC?

It is a Para Transit Non Emergency Medical Transportation risk.

New Venture which is hurting here, so no loss runs to present.

$3M in payroll.

Got 'No's" from Summit, Employers, FCCI, MCIM, App underwriters, Chartis, AIG, FUBA, and had it into Peachtree, All Risk, AmWins, 5Star, and Crump.

Out of options on this one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Comp market is hardening up man... Summit, MCIM, and FCCI use to write this class ALL DAY.

what part of FL are you in?

Your state fund may be the only option.

Yeah, really do not want to go there..

Gotta be someone out there willing to bite.

Would think the premium would jump out at some, guys got $3M in payroll.. talking even using the low ball rate of $7.20 for this class, roughly $216,000 in premium.

Market sucks right now.

state fund for 3 years, then change it out. I know it sucks, but i have to do the same for my clients.

Ugh...

submited to the JUA this morning.. Cannot wait to see this quote.

If the use published rating which is at $7.20.. thats $216,000 x the 49% JUA surcharge = $105,840 + $216,000 = $321,840.

Insured is going to s**t bricks.

Comp. market is hardening up down here atleast.. JUA is about to get busy.

You need to call a wholesaler. All Risks has an excellent product for this. Also call Hanover in Lake Mary they have an excess branch which does some funky things. Best of Luck. I wrote one of these awhile back i will look to see who the carrier was tomorrow.

It is into All Risks... As well as Crump, AmWins, 5Star, WTC, and 3 other wholesalers.

All the wholesalers just keep crossing paths in the same markets.. they all have the same 2 or 3 markets for this class and NONE write in FL.

You've got to remember this is a Miami account.. 99% of the carriers that write this class have little notices at the bottom of the apps "Not available in South Florida or NYC" :twitchy:

I write a ton of the non emergency auto but all with an exclusive MGA who is not rated to write the comp.

Your not getting big carriers to touch anything in Miami, all that stuff is with specialty FL carriers.

If this account as in Topeka, Kansas I am sure I would be getting flooded with quotes.

East Coast Comp Markets are all crappy. I can hardly write any Comp non State fund for NY and NCCI for CT...

Some new carrier or MGA needs to come along and get things in order it's just messy.

How can NYSIF a government run company mange to write all my hairy contractors profitably and have massive surplus... but no actual insurance company can? MIND BLOWN! :goofy:

I don't blame the carriers.. the class has been soft for the psat good 6-7 years honestly.. but is hardening up.

I have been writing public auto for abut 10 years and my first year in the business these paratransit guys in Miami, NY/NJ, and Philly were $8500-9000 a unit, I just bound one last week (a Miami account) at $4350/ unit... It is awkward binding with the carrier knowing what I know.. it is a guaranteed loser.. that thing will have a loss ratio of 200% in a year at that number.

There are still players out there for the auto, the WC there is NOTHING.

Taxis are hardening up to,
