Are any of you all familiar with this organization and the designations that they offer? I thought it was a big no-no to reference oneself as a "certified medicare" anything....

A Certified Medicare Insurance Planner- C.M.I.P. is a professional designation available to active licensed health agents, in good standing, that have at least 5 years of experience as a licensed health agent and can show 5 consecutive years of AHIP or CMS-approved annual MA & PDP certification.

Looks like a CMIP has the exact same training as I do as far as requirements. I didn’t look a the few to “earn” your designation.

Looks like an easy way for the owners of the “CMIP Board” to make money.
