CMS: STM Limited to 3 Months - No Renewal Allowed

Short Term Medical health insurance premiums have climbed high enough now that we may as well sell something with a little up-front pizzaz (benefits) for clients. Something like U.S. Health-Freedom Life.

If the Obama Administration follows-through and limits STM plans to 3 months in duration, U.S. Health-Freedom Life looks even more practical and reasonable.

If you want to sell it you must drop all other contracts. In other words you go all in with them. I spent the last 6 weeks meeting and reviewing their plans. Their plans really aren't to bad but try to get them to explain the riders that cap oop expenses and you get answers all over the board. These riders are short term and terminate at the end of the year exercised. Their rates compared to short term plans are not that competitive. Their marketing plan with really lying ignorant agents is appalling. I wouldn't ever consider them,
