Hello,

Sold a policy to a lady two weeks ago who was on Dialysis and put her with Monumental. The policy was for $12,000 @ $99.98. She called me today and has a price form Colonial Penn's Wholelife, $12,048 (8 units) @ $79.60. I wanted to make sure this was a whole life policy and not likes AARP's Universal policy. Looked on their website and it looks like it is
whole life.
Any sugestions or is Vantis the only option for me to rewrite the policy. I do not currently have Vantis but their price is $57.20 for 10K and 84.67 for 15K.

Many thanks

I've deduced from your post she is 62, taken from Colonial Penn's rate charts. I am contracted with Vantis but my prices show $10k=$49.04 and $15k=$72.44

Yeah but the big diff is Monu's policy is graded (30-70) the 1st 2yrs, whereas the CP policy is ROP. But if u can get her to wait for u to get contracted with Vantis, that would be best for you...but that maybe a long wait!

In most states the Monumental is also ROP plus 10% for the first two years.

The op didn't say what state but surely would have mentioned if his was a better deal because of the 30-70.

Send this lady to MoO or Vantis.

What does MoO have to offer in a case like this? I'm not familiar with MoO's FE product...what are the pro's and con's?

I would think it would be nice to get all the insurance companies rates and coverage for that example to compare.

It's a 2 year ROP =10% and it's the best priced out there except for a few instances where Vantis beats it a little. They are going to be in the ballpark with Vantis. It's a true GI. Agents can't sell it. The client has to get it straight from MoO.

You can contract with Vantis. So put them with Vantis if you can, if you can't refer them to MoO.
