For some reason Columbian seems to take a lot of grief on the forum but one thing they do is give great service.. Last Wednesday at approximately 11:35AM, I uploaded an FE app through the website.. At 12:55PM I received and email asking me to verify the gender (Her name was Ruth but I had checked male).. I responded at 1:09PM. At 1:39 I received an email telling me it had been issued as applied.. Received the policy today. This was a case where I elected not to do a POS. I also did not use the phone app that can give an immediate approval.. In other words, it was just a standard old fashioned paper application..(with an error)
The fastest I have heard of them issuing a policy is 18 minutes from time of upload of the paper app to the time of the approval email.
This has also been the type of service I have received from very department in the home office. Always get quick, accurate answers to all my questions and almost immediate response to anything I ask for.
