CFG....COLUMBIAN FINALLY GONE

Don, it has been one year since I was hospitalized but have had several trips to ER since then. It has also been over a year since I have drove a car. Hard to get out and knock doors. Plus I have to use a walker at times so that is another hinderance. Would be hard to get up people's steps.

I agree that 10 years ago most business was face to face. Don't think that 80% is now by phone but it moving in that direction. I just have never been comfortable prospecting and selling in that manner.

The 80% includes all forms of insurance . Like P@c is at least 90% on the phone . 10 yrs ago p@c was almost all phone . Most IUL, term , annuities on phone now . 99% of aca on phone . Yes fe still probably 50/50 phone or in person but moving fast over next few yrs. to 70/30% phone

Annuities on the phone? Hope you have a great brand on the internet for them to review before they cut the check.

Can't justify spending thousands on annuity leads to get beat out by the guy who was local to them

More zoom or webinar than phone nowadays with annuities. But I agree, I think majority of annuities are still sold face to face.

I meant zoom for insurance brokers . Financial planners and stock brokers still massively done face to face UNLESS already a client . Then many of those done over phone or zoom . My brothers broker and sells tons of annuity's to clients . Almost all non face to face unless they just want to drop the check out . Dealing with money is personal to many . I do cd's all over the country never talking to anyone .

I bet you couldn't start calling your book about not get through the Bs before you were to busy.

Hell, a simple 'how you doing' mail drop.

I'm pretty sure Alan Town sold his agency off to Innovative quite a few years ago. He cashed his chips in at the right time.
Yea.... Good ole AT ! Wrote quite a lot of business with Columbian and AT back when he hopped on with them and presented them to us when the Howe group started. Seems like yesterday. Good guy ! We had a lot of fun on trips.

Is the debit side gone as well? A few years ago I heard through the grapevine that it was not as desirable to CFG as it used to be. Of course, a lot of folks might say that about all debit business....

As far as I know they are not accepting any new business.

I used to know a dude who ran a fairly big imo, who used to really do CFG bigtime, wonder what he is up to now? I mean he almost exclusively used it as a go to....
