Commission Question - Its a Weird One

What do you guys think of this? All I do is supply the lead to an Independent. His office closes them and I get %90-%10 split with residuals. Not much upfront but an easy way to make residual income on the side. Again all I do is supply the lead. Sounds great to me. What do you guys think?

Is it a lead or is it a referral? If a referral, how strong is it? If it is a lead, I can get them out of the phone book or city directory.

It's someone who wants a quote for car/home insurance I would call that a lead.

That is a little light... 20% if fair IMO. Getting in front of people is the hard part.
