Commissions for MA at GA / FMO Level

Coventry had its proposed commission structure rejected last week.

Hard to believe we are still having this conversation.

We still have another week left of the current CMS administration. Keep holding your breath as they could change the commission schedules just one more time!

Retroactive commissions set by our government for work performed November 15th through December 31st! :goofy:

At least Coventry is pushing back!!!

I'm concerned about that other half for new enrollees that is to paid in the future. That would be an easy cut for the companies to make. Just not pay us money that we haven't gotten yet. That's much easier than a chargeback.

I've already taken the attitude that if I get that money, it's a bonus.

So here you are...a self-employed agent sweating out if you will get paid, are getting paid, or suffer chargebacks because of the capriciousness of some bureaucratic decision...usually 3-5 people.(who incidentally get paid on time and generously with our taxpayer money!) (sarcastic}

$0 commissions are back! Some of the benefit rich plans from SecureHorizons and Coventry are zero commissions.

Yep, people can still enroll -- just zero commission. :wacko:

The main problem I have with all of this is my contracts are with the various carriers not with CMS.
All of my contracts read vary similar to this.

I don't know about the rest of you but I have not gotten 30 days written notice. Have any of you? As far as I am concerned the companies owe the money based on the contracts we signed. After all they are still getting there $10,000 a year per client.
