Commissions.....

I'm not working individual plans this year.
Just not worth the hassle.
BC still has not paid me for off-exchange I wrote for 1/1/14.
and I did the enrollments electronically on their website.
Why bother and then service it too when issues come up.
Not this year!

Everyone is welcome to pick off my business!!!

Not naming specific carriers but I felt it important to bring to everyone's attention that commission rates are currently in limbo for 2K15 OE. This goes for both on and off exchange plans.

Is Blue Cross of Illinois the ONLY carrier in the country that hasn't announced what commissions will be on 2015 plans? BCBSIL agents are more than 2 weeks into Open Enrollment, and selling their plans daily, without knowing what our pay is. Last year, we knew 2014 compensation before Thanksgiving.

So, what's the problem TKruger? You started this thread. Come on..fill us in please!

TX too. We did the addendum email yesterday, but commissions weren't addressed.

IL got the Producer Agreement Modification e-mail yesterday too. I suppose this is one subject where Mama HCSC will be calling the shots.

When O.E. is over, I'm going to re-open the investigation in to why Texas BCBS pays better than its sister Illinois BCBS company.

At the time of the post all 5 carriers we work with were in question. As I post this today we have opted to not offer one specific carrier due to a total lack of communication and backend agent office. We're still going strong with the others.

That's just totally insane....
