Conflict of Interest!

I'm new here so forgive my naive question but why do you see a problem in this (legal or ethical)?

Assuming the carrier underwrote and approved the policy, all the guidelines where followed and everything was disclosed where's the challenge?

Do you insure your own auto/home/business through another broker?

You can sell you yourself, so long as the summation of your book isnt greater than 50% YOUR OWN policies. In other words they dont want tou getting a license JUST to get your insurance and the commission. There is nothing unethical about selling to yourself, just not ONLY to yourself.

Thank you for the clarification.
