Hello,

I'm from the Pittsburgh area and am contemplating making the jump to the insurance industry...Currently stumbled upon this forum while trying to narrow down what I'd like to get into.

I'm 26 and think now, is the best time to make this jump being that I have little minimal bills and can "afford" to take the financial hit while transitioning to the business...Looking to sell P&C primarily.

Hopefully I can find the information to make the smart decision on which companies and clarify the captive/independent debate I see raging on.
