Coverage for Hearing Aids

I know that UCT and others help to cover Hearing Aids, but are there any other plans available that are more specific in this area of coverage....that pays more towards the cost of hearing aids?

This is like vision and dental, there aren't really any good plans because it's not a great market. The folks that want it are the folks that want to use it, so the utilization is through the roof.

Does anyone have first hand experience of how UCT or Medico pays for hearing aids? Is the premium worth the coverage or are there discount plans available that offer similar benefits....i.e. those discounts available on some MA plans?

We have some MA plans here that are assisting with the cost at a co-pay that's slightly less than half of the retail cost + specialist co-pay for the audiology visit.
