Does anyone sell off of craigs list?
I see a lot of ads for life, health, and auto under different sections, but always wondered if it brought in good leads or if it was a complete waste of time.

I will try anything that is free. I'm going to try it soon. What could it hurt. I would like to know if anyone else is making sales from it.

Re: craigs list

Free is not always free.
You need to value your time, my guess is if you get calls, they will not be that productive, eating up your time for more serious business.

I haven't done it, be interesting to see what comes out of it.

I've found that the deal with Craigslist, is that you can use it to your advantage, and the people who typically respond, are smarter than the average "Joe six-pack," but it's sort of like doing business on shifting sands. Also a major time commitment, because, it like every other type of marketing requires, persistency.

I've done it. That being posted Ads. No response. I've only done it sporadically, though. You may need to post as often as possible because your ad quickly gets moved down the list to the point where it will be on the second page and most people probably don't go that far.

I have also done it. You have to redo the ads every so often. I got a few feelers, but that's all.

Oh...that's right. We sold one of the kid's bikes to a prospect.

I have done it and had no success with it.

I did have a member of PETA call me and tell what a terrible person I was to use craigs list because peta thinks craigs list supports poor treatment of animals.
Ya ever try to talk to these kinds of people? They are crazier that a sh*t house rat!:twitchy:

Never met a sh*t house rat, but I'll take your word for it. Be careful you might be arrested for hate speech towards rats.:err:

Hmmmmmm. A few "feelers".

You must be hanging out in the wrong section of CL...
I believe that you must be in the exotic section getting those feels... Shame, shame.
