Anyone using or having luck with the 3 or 4 step(Dan Kennedy) mailing system ? Looking at the results from other industries staggering success rates has me contemplating the insurance application and giving it a whirl. Just looking for some confirmation or a success story before committing.

Guess I assumed too much...again!

(Nutshell)Narrow target market gets a 3/4 stage mailing each 15 days apart and each linked to the last mailing with a copy(excerpt) of the last mailing attached. You know, "I'm suprised you didn't accept my offer, I hope you're not....." or similar type of copy...1st offer, 2 notice, final notice, etc.

They claim response rates in the 10-15%category with the combined 3/4 mailers at a total cost of roughly$3 total per name. ROI would be great if those numbers were even half that response rate and with a mediocre close percentage.

Anyone tried this ?

Russ Jones sort of does that with post cards & annuities & IRAs - aka sequenced mailings. Plus followed up with a monthly newsletter.

What type of products are you looking to sell?

A lot of these marketing guys like Tubbergen, Brian Kay, Jeff Paul, the selling insurance at home (Dean Cipriano) in your underwear and I also think Stubbe too are all disciples of Kennedy.

Russ Jones seems like a decent guy. I am not sure how good his marketing is but he is or was a producer.

marketing personal lines P&C ...still working on the angle to approach and then the copy...lots to do yet
