I had the pleasure of meeting Chris today. I was in Evansville, In and stopped by Newby's office and there was Chris.

I had spoken to him on Travis' training calls back when he was with EFES and conversed through the forums here but never met him face to face until today.

It was a pleasure.

I met him at the SMS sales summit, some months back. Very nice guy. Surprisingly, he never did play in the NFL.

I have known him for a few years now, finally got the chance to meet him in person last month at his medicare agent training seminar in orlando, Chris is a great guy and if you are looking for a medicare supplement imo he is the go to guy especially for telesales!

Guy introduced me to some awesome tech and ideas for marketing. Applied quite a bit of it to my Lone Star stuff and I'm grateful.

His training and support are awesome. At the end of the day I simply was no good at sitting at my desk doing med supp sales over the phone but that's no fault of his.

Yes, it was great finally meeting Chris face to face. we've talked a lot through the years.

Chris took around 7-hours round trip to come in from a meeting he was attending north of Indy. He drives all that way and gives me a whole lot of free info on things I can do to improve our website. I feel bad that I didn't even buy him lunch (He got there an hour too late.)

Chris has all the web-marketing and telesales stuff down to a science. No body does it better. He has an amazing MedSup by phone training site. Well worth the price of admission.

It's amazing how many valuable relationships I've made through this insurance forum. I guess the youngsters do the same with Facebook or Linked in but it seems like those things are way too shallow or something. Maybe I'm just getting old and closed minded.

That's for taking the time to drive down Chris.

I'm fortunate to see Chris often since my office is right above his. Not only is he highly intelligent, he has a way (when he's not going 150mph) of being able to dumb things down so that other people who aren't geniuses can understand it and usually that is not the case in my dealings with others like him. Chris is also a BIG family guy. I don't come across very many families that have great relationships like his. His site is great even if you don't do telesales. I didn't think it was humanly possible to do all the things he does until I met him. He's a machine. The real deal. He's also fun to eat grilled oysters with!

Do they not do dinner down there? They make these things call gift cards....Or you could have some wonderful Maine lobster shipped to him.

Just saying :)

Nope! There is only one window of opportunity that happens between 12:03 and 12:11 that if you traveled large distances and arrive at exactly the right moment the Newbs MAY entertain the remote possibility of buying you the best steak money can buy BUT Mr. Westfall dilly-dallied around (probably stopping to see a giant ball of string or the James Dean museum or some what-not) and missed the golden opportunity. It can not be repeated or substituted.

I guess I could mail him a care packet of a Dr. Pepper and a box of Cheese Nips like a gift from home to a soldier stationed in some god forsaken 3rd world country but I don't really see the point.

Perhaps because he really is stationed in that God forsaken third world country called Florida? :err:
