Security Life's Primestar Advantage isn't bad, keeping in mind the best dental plans are just okay at best and not worth it unless the policy holder uses a lot of dental services. They have a $2K annual benefit for $45-49 per month depending on the CT zip code. No waiting periods for any services. Preventive at 100%, basic at 50% first two years, then 65%, Major work covered at 50%. Half the annual benefit can be used for major services. They contract with Dentemax and Careington PPO networks, but cover any licensed dentist. Same exact plan available in IL, MO, NY, TX with premiums as low as $27 depending on zip.

if you have Humana there they have a under $20/mo plan they call insurance ---I would consider it more of a discount plan but they have another that they themselves call a discount plan. No deductibles, annual maximums or waiting periods-------every dental code is scheduled with a price they will pay. Of course must use Humana dental dentist. Don't know how the scheduled amount would compare to the typical 60% of " customary and normal" or however its phrased but would hope in line. Most folks feel more comfortable knowing in $$$ what something will cost than 60% of some unknown amount where they don't know till the mail comes with the bill

I was referring to the C550 plan down here--------don't know if its the same plan with different name there. Googled your plan and couldn't help but notice customer reviews on Humana dental plans----------bad, baddd reviews, brutal!
