I have a client who was denied a partial because there was teeth already missing
this was with ameritas

Is this the industry norm?
Or is it just a few?

is there others who will cover this?

Was the tooth removed under another plan? There is the lost tooth provision that some companies will use to deny coverage. Even a missing tooth can be used to deny coverage, annoying but it is what it is..

Yea I hear ya, it is what I thought

But what I am trying to find out, is who will cover it
are there any with immediate coverage even if it is reduced like with ametrias

or is it just the norm and I can help her

If you're looking into implants, it's worth checking out https://www.colinadental.com/services/dental-implants/. I've had a couple done, and finding the right place makes all the difference. The process can take a while, but a good provider will walk you through it step by step. Cost can vary a lot depending on where you go and what procedures you need beforehand, so always ask about everything upfront.
