Dialer Leads?

Does anyone know if it is possible to create your own dialer leads by using software or a "phone tree" type of setup?

I realize any list should be scrubbed against the DNC. Is there anything else?

It seems alot of folks are offering these leads for anywhere from $10 - $18 dollars each. Yet it seems to me that you should be able to create your own for a relatively small investment.

That is an age old question...now open the gates with all the I have a dialer system fer sale....

Does anyone know if it is possible to create your own dialer leads by using software

Thanks for the link! I have actually read through that posting earlier. It looks like a good option for health leads - but I am really looking for life leads and more specifically how to produce them myself - without having to setup a huge call center. I have been researching the topic on this forum and through Google for over a month now - so I thought I would ask in hopes of finding someone else that may know.

I am a one man operation as of today and purchasing the leads each week. It just seems like there should be a cost effective way to invest in some software or a dialer that can operate off of only 1 or 2 lines.

I have been using "press 1" transfers to generate life insurance leads. 60 transfers at $4 each has turned into 3 applications. If you don't suck as bad as I do, you'll do better.

Thanks I will give that a look! Is there a name I can search for or a link?

I have been using final expense leads - so I usually just show up at the door with a copy of the lead in hand...I only call if I can't catch them at home.

Does anyone else have a final expense dialer lead source?

Again, I really want to explore setting up my own as I can't imagine it is that hard to do! Otherwise, I am stuck with continual fees ranging from $10 - $18 dollars each.

I can get life and Final Expense auto dialer leads for $9.00 each. My agents get a discount from one of the major dialer leads programs.

You can buy your own dialer, they aren't that expensive. Buy your own lists, sign up for the do not call list (free for 5 area codes), get some software to scrub your lists against the do not call lists, and dial away.

Oh yeah, many states have outlawed this type of dialing, so be careful.

To get around the law, you can google for 'voice broadcast service', find one that calls from out of the country, which usually isn't regulated, and go at it. The authorities can still come after you, perhaps.

This works for appointment reminders, dialing current clients, telling you your kid skipped school today, and political campaigns. Pretty much anything else, and you'll run into trouble, which seems to be something they are starting to enforce a bit more.

Every state is different. In my area, I tried it briefly (bought the card for my computer for about $300, along with the software), but stopped pretty quickly. Lead quality wasn't worth the hassle factor.
