Direct Extract from AMS360 Database

Hi,

Has anyone done direct extract of some policy data from AMS360's DB (I don't even know which DB vendor they use) before, is it at all possible or the only option is via web services?

Are there any specific technologies required? Any tips on finding a person who knows AMS 360 and had done data extract before?

They are cloud based. You do not have access to the database directly. They do have a web services API. You need to contact Vertafore directly for details.

I just heard it was possible to get database directly to get the data out, but was not sure. Too bad it is impossible to get it directly...
