Dirigo Declaring Victory

Was listening to the governors health policy advisor on public radio talking about how they are going to fold Dirigo into the health reform/exchange thing.

As discussed and predicted you may think that these states that are struggling with their dog programs would cringe at the idea of obamacare or at least give warning signals. Not so. They can't wait to dump their programs on to the feds and get a pantload of money to support it at the same time. Then they beat their chests crowing about being in a leadership position for implementing health reform in the country.

Can't believe I missed this one. Dirigo has been on a downward spiral for years...But then again I think Baldacci wants something to look back on to be proud of and with just 4 months till the election its not looking too good for him. During his watch we've lost more mills, had the DHS computer fiasco (Is that even fixed yet?) and more. I've been watching Dirigo and I've noticed the keep shortening the grace period on payments...most insurance you get 30 days Dirigo has gotten down to 15.
