Do I Need to Get Appointed?

If I am changing companies (I sell for) will I need to get appointed again even though some of the same companies are offered by my new company as well as the old one I worked for.

Is there a basic list of questions out there to ask prospective customers for P&C coverage or quoting. I understand every policy if different I am looking for a basic set of questions or a checklist.

For part 1...it depends on the companies. Some will have you recontract because you have a new hierarchy. Some will just update your hierarchy information.

When you say P&C do you mean personal lines or commercial?

I have a little checklist I use when doing P&C, it helps to get quotes going then if something is weird then I'll follow-up and ask more information.
