Do Not Call List

As an advisor of financial products, I find it increasingly difficult to reach out to consumers via phone. A growing number of people are on the National Do Not Call List (DNC). In fact, the last number I checked had over 171,769,862 consumers on the list. And, as of the DNC improvement act of 2088, once you put your number on the list, its on their for good (until you personally remove it).

How do you guys deal with DNC numbers? What tools do you use to get a consumer on the phone if you can't call them?:)

Since you apparently telemarket, simply view the ones not on the list as an invitation to call. People on the list have done you a favor, they are the biggest part of the hangups you get.

True? Probably not, but its a psychological game, play along.

Of course, the alternative as Paul says is to get them to call you. Not so easily done all the time, but those who do call have some solid interest.
