Don't Give Up when Your Getting Started in FE

As a fairly new FE and Pre Need agent of five months, I am so glad that I stuck it out during the learning process. At one point I wanted to just go get a part time job and give up. I realize now how those early morning calls and referrals pay off when you really work them. The freedom of doing your work in the AM and having time to spend with my family and be paid every week is awesome. Pay attention to the more experienced agents on here. I learned a lot in the forums here. I was shocked that I am already receiving a bonus this week for the business I wrote over the last five months.Just wanted to post this thread to encourage new agents. Well newer than me.

Congrats on sticking with it and making a go of it.. Now, if only you (and half the other posters) would learn the difference between "your" and "you're".. ;)

That sentence should cause an anurisum.:twitchy:

Way to go Angie. Hold on to that feeling. When it slows down, and it will, pull that feeling up. Lee

Angie must've started the same time I did (late Feb), and I share the same sentiment she does. This is a rewarding business if u stick it out & learn....esp during the slow periods where everything seems to go wrong! Ive had my shae of ups & downs, mostly downs recently....but I havent given up, tried to re-evaluate what need to do to be successful & hopefully I'm now back on track!

Thanks Angie & to all the new agents struggling, or even having success- Dont Give Up During the Bad Times!!

Angie - just curious, did you learn on your own or did you have anyone to mentor?
