Dropbox- Amazing Free Online File Storage

I pulled up a pdf file and looked all over and can't figure out how to change it to black and white

On my Mac I can open a PDF using the default Preview app (Mac's "replacement" for Adobe Reader... although we have Adobe Reader as well) and do a "save as" (or "export" on Lion) and select B&W under "Quartz Filter" drop-down.

If you have a lot of color graphics and fonts it will make a smaller file for you.

I'm sure there must be some app you can get that does this in Windows?

Because I can run Windows on my Mac I've yet to find anything "insurance centric" that I can't do on my Mac just as easily as Windows... and often it is way easier. I love Apple products. You pay through the a$$ for them, but many people think it is worth the extra cost. Others, not so much!

Let's have a PC vs. Mac war. It's been a few years since we've had one on this venue!!

With an 11% share of the computer market, Apple is the "fat quality smart" girl with a great personality. HP is the shallow stupid hot girl with no substance....and is still kicking Apple's ass all over the place:-)

You once sold BMWs.

What % share of the market does BMW have?

Is BMW a higher quality automobile than a Chevy?

What percentage of drivers would rather own a BMW than a Chevy if they could?

If Dells/HP were the same price as a Mac, who would want a virus-prone, spy-ware infested Windows machine vs. a safe (or at least 'safER') OS X machine? Anyone?

How come HP is not "the world most valued company" at least for a few hours (as Apple was... and maybe is again now?)

Finally, all the cool, hip kids use Macs. Insurance agents use PCs ! :D  ;)

I was able to change it to black and white when printing and it made the file the exact same size, or very close.
I'll check Monday to see if I can change it directly from PDF.

As far as apple vs PC, I have a PC, a Galaxy tablet and an iPhone.
I've had all the iPhones since V1 and I can guarantee you my next laptop will be a Mac. Apple products just work so much better

My daughter got rid of her PC, only uses her IPad2. Wife has just about done the same thing. My Ipad2 has replaced my laptop but I still use my desktop mostly. Apple's IPad will be replacing more and more desktops and laptops. Since we are going from 3 desktops down to one when I replace the one I may just go with Mac.

I wouldn't be able to replace my laptop yet with just a tablet. Too many things you still can't do on a iPad or android yet that needs to be done on a desktop or laptop.
For instance, try doing a fantasy draft. Not on a tablet.

Which is why at home I still use my desk top. I only used the laptop on appointments and now it stays in the car and I use my Verizon IPad. Love that little thing. Pisses me off that I just bought it in November and now the next generation is out at the same price. WTF

ksigmtsu, I see in your post that you like LastPass. I've been using RoboForm to store my passwords, but have heard wonderful things about LastPass. Do you know anything about RoboForm and how it differs (if at all) from LastPass?
