Dual Contracting Carriers

These FE companies don't offer the dual contracting, that other fully underwritten companies do. Choose your IMO carefully, and never tie up all your contracts with one group

If you are signing up for multiple carriers, you should get an up front open release letter signed.

Ditto, I have contracts with several guys here like Todd, Brad and Rick. I trust and recommend them, but will never have a majority of my best companies with one person. Stuff happens. Just my humble opinion.

I have one contract with MOO, but can write it with either IMO I want based on just a cover letter with the application going to that IMO/FMO. Takes care of releases and whoever wants to run a better lead program for me and my agents wins the business. (along with good customer service, returning calls, training, etc).

How do you like MOO? I haven't used them for FE.

Don't understand. Have you just begun writing with them or something?

The living promise product is new here in FL. I will be writing more of it or most since we have a deal on leads through them.

It is a solid product all the way around. It is just a matter of how well the UW is and how the home office performs. With a name like Petty or Andretti, it better!

I refuse to write anything MoO. That comes from their med sup trickery and constant name changing and closing the former book.

I only have 3 MoO med sup clients left and they just can't move because of health issues. They can't even use the MA trial route to get away from MoO. I doubt it work anyway if they were elgible since newby had that problem with MoO allowing people to return to their old plan even if it wasn't sold anymore.

But that just how they are. If this living promise thingy is good now then use it up because it will change.

Yea, I am trying to have an open mind with it. If they drop the ball along they way, they will be dropped quicker then I can snap my fingers. Every company is good for a bit, then the rules change. Recently it is RNA, and then we here news on 5star. Foresters went from the penthouse to the doghouse. Plenty more to come I am sure.
I remember when Continental Life was a great little company tell they got bought out and blew up the med sup rates. American Continental FE product with Aetna is actually a nice product and would do more business with them if the rates where a tad better.
