I'm not against admitting when I'm wrong. What carrier OFF exchange is still accepting applications in the state of California if not under an SEP or qualifying event ?

With certainty I can say Blue Shield and Anthem Blue Cross. Confirmed via RSMs for both, as well as actually submitting business myself.

Hmmm.... I looked into it and I know that Assurant isn't taking any more apps so after hearing it from someone else that off exchange was over, I assumed that it was so rather than checking the other carriers for myself. So this is good because I can still squeeze in some more apps.

Like I said, I'm not against admitting error and I really appreciate DS4 and Quotebroker pointing out my incorrect info. Thanks guys! You are too kind.

I've done four apps, totally 10 lives. Last two this evening, one case while on the phone in a three way with the client and the exchange girl named Jennifer, then I called the next, got authorization, deleted problem app, started another, enrolled in plan, DONE!!
