I couldn't have said it any better... Nothings perfect!

I've never had a problem with EFES accepting my reciprocal agreement. Eric signs it everytime.
Again, the companies are kore at fault than the OMO. They are the ones holding up your contract based on an agreement they have with the IMO that the agent is not a party to. The agent never agreed to the release policy and the agent never signed off on it.
If I were to leave EFES I believe I could get released and I know Travis would be in my corner to help but if that's pie in the sky thinking on my part then so be it.
If I were to leave I would want to contract with RNA, Americo and AmCon and would be upset if I couldn't. I don't really give a **** about waiting out Mon, Foreters or Oxford.
I would be more upset with RNA if they wouldn't recontract me than I would with EFES. I've qualified for the last two trips with RNA and just missed the one before those, {I would have made that one if they had prorated the qualifying since I started writing them halfway into the qualifying period}, and I got an award from them in Hawaii as a Top 10 agent with them. I don't if I will get one of those next week.
So if RNA wouldn't recontract a Top 10 agent because of an agreement with a 3rd party I would seriously have to reconsider if I wanted to contract with them.
Same for Americo and AmCon. But I am not a top producer with either of those so I could see them leaning to the IMO. Even though it's still wrong.
But, bottom line, there's too many companies out there to write. I could do just fine while waiting out my probation, {I can't think of a more appropriate word for what they are doing}.
Releases are a huge issue in the med sup business and even moreso in the MA business. For life products it's a speed bump. No more than that.
Do you have all your contracts with them?

Really sounds like a lot boils down to the manager you pick.
Sounds like having Travis in your corner is big. Really does sound like there are some differences in managers.
Seems like a while back you guys mentioned some big hitters leaving for recruiting opportunities. Did they have any issues getting released?
The EFES deal, in my opinion now, is that it's great for the producer but not so much if you want to build a team.
