Obama Administration Extends Deadline For State Exchanges --Again - Kaiser Health News

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius pushed back the deadline until Dec. 14 for states to submit letters of intent to build the state-based markets, called exchanges. The original deadline had been Friday, Nov. 16.

Seven states remain undecided on whether to build state-based exchanges -- Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Idaho, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Arizona and Wisconsin.

Rick Scott is uniquely qualified to help Florida deal with government-controlled health insurance.

He, after all, bilked Medicare of at least $1.7B while CEO of HCA.

What a great campaign slogan for his re-election campaign: 'This time I'll scam the Feds for all Floridians not just myself"

A little deceitful with those comments. He didn't make 1.7B himself. And if he defrauded medicare, he'd be in jail. So unless you feel for profit hospitals should give out free health care, he did nothing wrong. When CEO, his first priority are the shareholders. As governor, his first priority is also the shareholders...the FL citizens.

Why not just take him out and shoot him and appoint the democrat....that make you happy you liberal pond scum

Same here FLM, I think he is a crook and he or his advisor's have figured a way that if he implements an exchange or partners that when he leaves office his business that is in trust now will make money off this whole thing.

YA you're right he was never convicted but many crooks aren't.

Although I am republican, yes the liberal democrat Alex Sink should have been elected governor.
