Thought maybe you drove a wrecker.. Years ago, my wife had one of our young grandsons in Wlamart when he spotted a toy wrecker... He shouted out, "look Mam Maw! A hooker!"...

nickname playing sports as a youth was always "Birdman" but that username was already taken so I decided to add a number on the end that I could remember.

When this forum was first created I was only about 8-years into my insurance career. Back then the forum was full of health insurance agents and traditional life guys and I noticed them calling each other Newbys as a put down. No one on this forum sold FE back then and it was definitely looked down upon by any of them that had even heard of it.
So I named myself Newby as a badge of honor. Plus when they tried to insult me by calling me a newby it would just be my chosen name.
It's worked out real well. I'm 22-years in and still learning new stuff all the time.

Hard to believe the forum has been around 14 years. I think when I first found it, it had just undergone a major format change because people kept talking about the "old forum" .
