Ok with all the changes need to know what the updates are

Most importantly, Can I still enroll LIS for Jan 1st
Medicaid?

Or do I have to wait till Jan 1st?

What happens after OEP can I only do 1 change per quater now? Both Lis and Medicaid?

What I am not seeing is Can I use it for after AEP for Jan 1st

I am asking because I just did a Medicaid plan and was told it was going to be denied because it is last quarter unless I did it as change to status, which it was newly qualified

Now I have another client that has extra help for drugs and changed to Humana MAPD

But wants to go back to Med Sup and PDP I am trying to see if I can do that

Seems obvious according to the document you would be able to make a change once a month

except I got told I was going to pend out on the Medicaid plan because ti was the last quarter

Which Is why I do not understand it


I am also super confused looking at this integrated stuff not understanding at all what it is trying to say, other then maybe only some plans are eligible?
but it also sounds like it is trying to say a lot more then that just dont know what

But that is another rabbit hole I will have to go down in the next week

Anything from CMS makes more sense that way.

The problem is the rial right is for IF you droped med sup to get MA for the FIRST time unfortunately its not the first time

There never was a 4th qtr dual lis sep. Next yr The quarterly dual/lis sep is gone for all non integrated plans which most states don't have the integrated .You can use the oep sep. Also April 1 the dst sept gone for agents . After march if your following the rules writing apps will be tougher . I'm sure carriers will be monitoring abuse of sep's next yr

I forgot that . Mrs jones who has no diabetes or heart " Mrs jones you get a $85. Food card " . Then they call them 10 days after the first of the month "Mrs Jones sorry you don't qualify " and they flip them back to regular plan .
