American Amicable and United Home Life uses age nearest Bday. There are many more that use age nearest bday.

Don't think you can add more carriers, only omit the ones you don't want quoted. They are adding:
1. Equitable
2. Settlers
3. Genworth
4. Liberty Bankers
5. CSA Life


I'm no expert, but with what they have right now and then adding the above mix, that is about as good as it gets with competitive final expense products. Nice tool to have.

I like the quoter much better than I thought I would. It's pretty awesome. I already had a pretty good handle on where all the FE companies fall but there are still a few surprises when you run quotes. I can imagine this is a huge help with new agents that are just learning the companies.
I'm not recruiting agents at all right now. I couldn't take the drop in income any longer. Much better for me when I keep my eye on the ball and just produce.

UHL is the only one that I know of. I see no reason to ever use them, so it's a non issue.

Just curious, but what don't you like about UHL? They seem to be one of the few that will allow phone apps without meeting face to face.

Besides their too high pricing? Their underwriting is way too tough for the rates charged. They won't take anyone under age 65 that's on disability.

They do not give an immediate answer when you do their very lengthy phone interview. Their disclaimers take longer to read than doing an entire AmCon phone interview. And they use nearest age where everyone else in FE uses last birthday.

There are just too many options in the FE market to use a high priced company that's difficult to work with.

And, since I don't sell by phone, the part you like about them is a non issue to me.

Plus, they are Farm Bureau. I'm a union guy at heart and Farm Bureau is the sworn enemy to unions here in my state. That alone is enough reason for me to not use them.

Also age instead of DOB would be a big plus. I have a hard time with DOB.
