FE Carriers with Optional PHI

I have been using 5 Star for quite a while and love that they give me the option of completing a telephone interview. Most of the time I do it, but sometimes I don't (we've all been in that smelly nasty house where you just want to get out asap). I know Royal Neighbors has a setup where some IMOs aren't required to do the interview but wanted to know if any others with that flexibility.

Monumental and Americo.

My experience with both those carriers is that may require a PHI after the underwriter gets the file (which I hate by the way - either require it at point of sale or don't doing at all). Are you telling me that I now have the option of completing a point of sale interview that will give me a rock solid underwriting decision with Monumental and Americo? That woould be handy.

It's optional with RNA if you are an "elite" agent with them. I'm not sure of what it takes to be on that list so maybe a call to RNA to find out is in order?

No -- it's randomized still for both.

What you're looking for really doesn't exist beyond 5-Star regarding competitive FE carriers.

I have yet to get a PHI for Americo & I have had only 3-4 out of about 40 apps with Monumental....thats MY exp at least!

Well I have written a total of 1 policy (scratch that - certificate) with them so I would imagine I've got a long way to go!

Yup...your upline should be the ones educating you on this. Give them a call on Monday so they can earn their over rides from your business. The way it seems, they haven't done anything for you yet

I can't remember the last one I got from Americo. It's been more than a year. Monumental on the other hand has called every single one I've written this year.

I am moving from one IMO to another very soon and my current IMO is willing to release all my contracts except 5 Star. Not really sure why and it doesn't make any sense to me. But if I have to live in the FE world without 5 Star (frown) I want to know what alternatives are out there with their flexibility.
