FE Doorknocking Survey

I door knocked this week. Did term and FE. 295 in annual premium.

----------

I better be prepared for those chargebacks. Lol

I figured I would start posting my door knocking results on this thread instead of the cold call thread.

Anyway, I knocked 94 doors on Saturday. My first door was at 10:15am and my last was at 4:30. I did get a few leads but I think a few are tire kickers. The last door I knocked on the 20 y/o son answered the door. I explained what I did and the son mentioned that his dad was looking for insurance and had just gotten declined a bit ago.

The son gave me the dads' info and I called today and the dad said to come on by. While on the phone with the dad he mentioned that he was declined because of his kidneys. He didn't go into it but he did say he WAS NOT on dialysis.

Once I got to the dads place and after speaking with him for a bit and seeing what he wanted I began the questions. Turned out he didn't have kidney disease, he had elevated kidney levels before is the reason he was declined but his Dr. said that his levels are now fine and he is not taking any medication for his kidneys. The only thing he has is insulin.

I placed him with Monumental Standard, 12K face for 99.98 month.

Not bad for just door knocking. On average every 50 doors is a sale.

Why Monumental standard for the guy?

Many better choices for insulin dependent without having to pay Mon's standard rates?

I'm only appointed with Monumental and RNA right now. RNA was a no go since he had been taking insulin since in his 30's he said. I'm still learning their products and I hope to add some more soon.

JD, which carriers do you suggest I get with EFES?

RNA, Americo, AmCon, Oxford if you still can get it?. Might want Foesters but I can't imagine what for. Same for UHL. Some people find a use for them. I never have.

Every 50 doors knocked or 50 people you have talked to?

Every 50 doors knocked or 50 people you have talked to?

It's on average of every 50 doors. I've been getting a pretty good response rate at my door knocks being answered. I think it may be due to me focusing on lower middle income predominately black neighborhoods. It seems these areas have a grandmother living with their children or the older clients living in the home they first bought 20-30 years ago.
