How so? The people in the office don't have a clue about selling their products.

They can perhaps hook him up with a top producer in that market. It might be a waste of time but something useful could come of it.

I don't ask HO folks for advice on selling. However, I have found it never hurts to have a personal, face to face relationship with them... especially the underwriting team ...

Relationship building is becoming a lost art. If I lived close to an important carrier I would make it a point to at least try to foster a relationship.

How would that make a difference with AmCon? You make the call, the client says no to all the questions and Bam! They're approved. Having a relationship or not with an underwriter would not make one iota of difference.

The client either says no or they don't.

Don't care how simple they make it, with insurance companies there is always the possibility of things going wrong.. :yes:
