Felony question in NY for renewal of P&C license

My P&C license renewal is coming up end of May and it asks have you been convicted of a felony or charged with one? I was charged with a bullshit Felony thats getting either dismissed or reduced to a misdemeanor but this damn covid crap has all the courts frozen and my case is on hold. If I just say yes I'm charged am I Screwed? I would think yes, if I wait till my case gets done and not renew I have to retake my P&C classes I think. Anyone have experience with this? I don't remember them asking "where you charged with a felony last year on my renewal, only if convicted, now they ask if your charged of course, I have the worst luck...

Thanks for the reply, I did and you get a customer service rep who has no idea... Im wondering if theres another agency or law firm or someone who would know better..
