Female 55 and Depression Meds

Yes, the others would be good if you were meeting them to get the app. Foresters would be better if you were going to see her though.

See Wino, u need to give her the BEST deal & the BEST deal is Foresters F2F....call me!! LoL

Americo doesn't require f2f. They do ask if you witnessed the signature or not, but it's not required. You do have to have the wet signature though.

That's right. I have done it that way. Muddled headed today. Thanks. No PHI, maybe good, maybe bad.

How could you witness the signature if you did not meet with them?

Americo has always told me that they intend for their business to be written face to face. Not through the mail or by phone.

I just wrote a lady in FL by mail. They did email me just to confirm the "no" answer I put in the agents report regarding witinessing the signature. They had no problem that I didn't see her f2f. It was issued with no problems and I mailed out the policy to her today.

What the Americo app app asks is "At the time this application was taken, were all of the Proposed Insured{s} present and did you witness their signatures?"

Then they ask, "Did the Proposed Insured{s} directly respond to each application question?"

And then, "Was a government-issued picture ID requested, reviewed, and confirmed {by reviewing a second document such as a utility bill, tax return, etc} for the proposed insured, Owner and payor{if different than the Proposed Insured}?"

How could the agent answer yes to those questions if you did not see them? And, if you answered no to those questions, then how do you explain that in the comments/remarks section?

And, if you answer no to those questions, what happens to the application?

I would have to pull a file but am thinking that I marked I did not witness and that I asked the questions by phone. If I had them send a copy of ID then I sent that if not I marked no. I always ask for DL,ID or Green Card numbers. And yeah, I believe they PHI them.

The ID question brings up another question. Since I have them breaking out the docs any way. I am taking pictures of them for the file. Helps prove I was there, what the build is and reminds me who they are later.

Anyone else doing that?

I take pictures of IDs as well so I can remember them. I keep them on my confuser in the pictures section/files.
