True, though city ordinances and eligibility criteria for a given carrier are not always the same.


But it makes you look better in the eyes of the client also,

Say the insurance company wants a 4 foot fence, but the city requires a 5 footer....

I am in PHX, so I guess this is a HUGE deal for me, so I might need to know more than most in this regard....

Most cities here require the 5 foot fence with self locking gates, but a coulpl of INS companies only require a 4 foot.

I see what you're saying now. I was looking at it in reverse; i.e. the city only requires a three foot fence but the carrier requires a four.

And the company that installs or puts the pool in needs to worry about the codes before it is put in.
 
I called all my carriers, every one told me as long as the back yard is fenced they are ok. THey just didn't want random people having access to your pool.
