Cold calls for FE has brought me to a mom who wants to purchase FE for her 47-49 year old son (she says she has a lot of kids and can't recall exact birth year at the moment..)
He's a non smoker, high blood pressure, no other ailments.

All the products I have are for 50 and up. Even so, the issue here is since she will be paying for it, on a fixed income, and is dealing with low income she needs the policy to be as low as possible for at leasst $8,000 coverage.

I really want to help out but I am stumped. Just finished speaking with Forester's looking to brain storm what they might have. The lowest, term life hypothecal is about $29.60. However, during our phone conversation she expressed how much it would really help if I found something under this price range.

Anyone have any direction for me?

assurity life has a simplified issued whole life policy, that can be completed thru e-app...I don't know what the pricing would be, but that may be an option

Yelp.. Hate to say it but your best direction is to find a new prospect.

If she has lots of kids, why is she singling this one out for insurance? if she can't pay $30 per month, you are going to have a hard time keeping anything you write on the books. There are red flags everywhere you look with this case, not the least of which is it sounds like she might have the beginning stages of dementia.

As far as FE goes, there are lots of companies that write FE below 50 .. Settlers, UHL, Equitable, etc.

If you are really selling FE and you can't sell under 50 you need to fix that quick. Do you have a manager?

Monumental, Settlers, Assurity, American Memorial would be my choices.

Thank you so much guys

To be quite honest, its not so much that I'm worried about the commission for this app. I was calling for the senior market. Sometimes I run into people who ask me things like "while you're at it, please help with" medications & insulin, life insurance for grandchildren, insurance for adult children, etc. She is one of those people.

I figure I might as well do the research, help out, and learn so I can help the next person who asks much more quickly.

Also, to answer why is she singling out this child, I believe he's one of the only ones living at home. Idk enough about dementia to say yes or no, but she's only in her early 60s. I've spoken to plenty of people like her before so I guess thats why I wasn't as alarmed. I suppose looking through the filter as an agent now, then yeah there are red flags everywhere

I'll look into the companies you mentioned. Once again, just trying to help if I can.

Thanks!
