I am looking to add some final expense companies, but I'm having trouble finding companies with products that are approved for sale in Washington state. Who are people using up here?

My understanding is there are not many choices in Washington State. Companies have a hard time getting anything approved up there. I am licensed in OR/WA. Have FE in Oregon, not in WA. Check the WA DOI website. You should be able to find out which companies are approved there.
My choices are fewer because I am a captive agent. A captive really considering going independent.

WA is really difficult! I try not to work up there unless I have to.

Yes, you in a tough state, but we do have products approved there. You are a lot better off then the Washington Agents.
