Does anyone have an idea of a type of formula too put together a budget? Such as to make X number of dollars at 100% commision and 75% advance, I would need to sell x at an average of y. I would need how many appointments and how many leads to set that many appointments. Thanks

Re: Final Ex Sales Formula

The only way of knowing is to buy leads and track it yourself.
I bought 50 leads for a pretty experienced insurance agent and he sold a total of ZERO.
JDEasy could have those same leads and sell 30 of them and get 15 referal app

Appointments too.
All the planning in the world won't tell you what you can do.

Just don't try it if you are already broke. There is 100% chance you will end up broker.

Re: Final Ex Sales Formula

It is important to know your key numbers:
Lead response rate
Lead placement ratio
Avg. Premium
Avg. Comm (varies by product)
13 month persistancy

If you are setting appts, you need to add appt ratio and close ratio

The lead guru, Don Runge, says a lead is only as good as the agent working it. Your formula will need to a variable for your learning curve as well. I'll ask some people at our agency if they have a formula.
