Has anyone ever worked for or had any experience with First Acceptance Corp out of Nashville? If so do you happen to know what the compensation is for a new agent?
I believe its the same company.They write the substandard market,they have started to advertise on TV here.As far as comm and renewals,I dont really know..sorry.It looks like you are a glorified CSR and they require you go cold call one day each week.Seems like an OK job if you dont want the hassle of service work etc,renewals are not a big base in the substandard market though...just my opinion.Good luck with them and let us know how you go on.
Thanks for your reply. I did start to fill out an outline app with them, but the second page which is a consumer reporting page just asked for too much info for me to feel comfortable with before meeting someone face to face. I guess you're right about renewals, probably wouldn't be any. I had entertained the thought of learning the business but I'm making 4 times that salary (right now) in life and health. I've had a p & c license for sometime and just hate to give it up, took too much to get it.
Just a thought,have you heard of superior access,a lot of guys on here seem to like them.You can get into them for about a $100 per month +you will need p+c e+o,but then you can write 5/6 preferred companies and 1 sub standard.They set you up withh a quoting tool also.
