Stockbrokers turned into fee based models, I helped them do that 2 decades ago selling no load mutual funds to Advisors. The same will happen with insurance and real estate agents...over time.

When you have guarantee issue health products, PPO plans are magnets for bad health. Obamacare pretty much eliminated PPO plans, or if offered, they are twice the premium vs HMO. I had 10 PPO plans available before ACA, now I have 0 to 1. The same will happen with mapd PPO market. It's a loss leading product, regardless of star ratings or reimbursement amounts.

It's funnny as hell . I'm the negative one and not one person on this board did as many apps as me aep on their own pen .Hell few face to face agents in the whole country did my vol. BEING NEGATIVE PAYS BIG . As i recall Somarco in 10 yrs in the business a few yrs ago had had a book of 400 or so. In 7 weeks I didn't more apps than he did in 10 yrs !!! . Time to retire old man .

I tend to agree with this . But what's ironic with these 2 million termed mapds . I bet 200-300k sickier people have migrated to sups this aep with Gi. Lose ratios about to sky more hence huge rate increases in 2026
