Interesting--checked the Englewood FL Chamber site--only 2 of the 18 insurance members make any reference to Medicare-along with Boat (HUGE here) Home, auto, Motorcycle, business etc etc.

Just looked up Englewood, lived in Florida for 39 years and never heard of it, and no wonder there’s not many Medicare supp/MAPD agents there. It’s far from any big City.
Small cities in Florida get the worst of both worlds. High premium Med supps and bad mapds. Unless you guys get grouped with tampa, and I don’t think so

Advantage plans here not so bad---27 plans--some of the same stuff as at "home"-UHC Mde Complete, Humana Gold Plus, BCBS and Wellcare. Plan N about the same as in the midwest. Interesting thanks for the input

Yeah just looked it up on Medicare.gov. Decent plans, not as good as Tampa to Daytona but I’ve seen worse areas in FL
