Hi there!
Since you are experienced with Call Center operations, can you answer these questions?
1) When call center agent does the application process, does it devise its own telephone verification script or does it use Voice app script provided by the individual MA carrier as we do as external agents?
2) Does a Call Center application go directly to the carrier at time of voice signature app or "batched" and sent at different intervals during the day?
There are FMOs that support. Life is too short to be stuck with a dud.
The enrollment script is the exact same with every carrier, except the name of the carrier in it changes. It states everything in the Statement of Understanding and plus more disclosures than on a paper application. Every second of every call is on a recorded line and at the end the prospect agrees to accept by stating their name, DOB and date. The application then goes directly to CMS right when it is submitted.
Yes life is too short. I get paid well, but I am tied to an office and have a long commute. I like the idea of selling over the phone because then I can work anywhere and at any time. If I want to work here in my home I can. If I want to work in a hotel room at a casino and play poker at night I can. If I want to work in a RV in a campground I can. I rather sell for myself and build up my book even larger. I only want financial support, either marketing dollars or a higher contract rate, which has been offered to me with them stating they will put agents under me. It is insane the amount of calls and sales that are made each day even in lock-in.
