FMO Transfer Form - UHC / Secure Horizons

I just transfered my UHC/secure horizons appt. You have to recontract with the full papper work and they give you a new agent #. there is no transfer form.

A transfer form because your FMO was termed or a release letter to just switch FMOs? If your FMO was terminated by UHC and they had an SGA in their hierarchy, you do not need a release letter. All you need to do is complete new contracting. I believe the transfer form that you may be talking about is the hierarchy addendum which would be completed by the FMO.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. No, I am switching FMO's and from what I am finding I have to re-do the paper work. No form.

Thanks,

Yeah all you will need to do is complete need contracting: if the previous FMO was terminated, you did not produce any new business in 6 months, or you received a release letter.

I just submitted 2 mapds yesterday for Secure horizons, What has been anyones experiance on the turn around and getting paid the comissions? 1 week 2 weeks 3 weeks? thanks.

This was covered at this week's Medicare Advantage Breakfast Roundtable (at IHOP in Silver Spring, MD).

Attending weekly with the heads of CMS and the carriers is very enlightening.

Anyway, they were saying that they're working on a plan to delay commission payments until April 2013.

The CEOs were almost giddy with how much extra interest they can make.
