Hello All,

I have a client who wants a Prudential Annuity but my FMO only does Prudential on the life side. Can anyone recommend a FMO where I can write a Prudential annuities?

Thanks in Advance...

An indexed annuity that she wants to take income from.

She never heard of the companies which I suggested and an expert in her office opened their big mouth... LOL

Prudential does not offer Indexed Annuities. Only Fixed, Immediate, & Variable.

Her Co-Worker most likely was talking about their VA since it is one of the more popular ones on the market. The GLWB has been watered down a good bit over the years though. If its income she is after then IAs have a lot more to offer.

American General has a really good IA right now, and Im sure she has heard of them.
You could always try Allianz, LFG, Jackson National, or Voya (ING).

Or take a step back with her and go over financial ratings, what they mean, and how they are more important than name recognition.

Show a list of the top 100 insurance companies in a given area. There's no way she would've heard of them all, yet they all have a product for a given market.

You'll notice that Prudential is #3.
Allianz is #9.
LFG is #7.
Jackson National is #2.
Voya (ING) is #11.

I'm sure that any other carrier you choose to represent is also on that list.

Just because a client hasn't heard of a particular company, doesn't mean that they don't exist and aren't credible.

Great link David, thanks for sharing.

AG is #5 on that list.
Another good option that is competitive, is Nationwide. I would put AG & Nationwide as the top 2 out of the top 20 when it comes to competitive IA products.
