Focus on One Carrier?

Is this recommended for a newby like me who still doesn't know his ass from third base yet?

I'm very new too, in glad I just happened to find 2 carriers who complement each other, SNL is my "go-to" and I use all their free marketing materials and buy their doorhangers.

Then as triggers to my #2 Transamerica, I have the real "fatties", "crazies" and COPD.

Those were my only 2 carriers I used during my first 3 months. Now I started getting questions about insuring their grandkids, so I added Mutual of Omaha just for that.

Having a limited number of carriers really helped me to learn the basics faster and keep it simple. I'm confident when I'm presenting that almost any situation I can handle, I'm still learning everyday and I do have Gerber in case I truly need a GI but I haven't used them yet.
