OK Golf Fanatics, we have access to the 2010 Master's Golf Tournament in Augusta, GA for ONE DAY (as of right now Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are available, but this could change) of the REAL MASTERS TOURNAMENT April 8-11, 2010. This prize is for 2 people.
We have decided to offer these 2 tickets for one day as a prize to our top agents to be entered into a drawing to be held in our office in early March, 2010. The winner will have to get their own transportation and rooms at this event, but my son and a friend went this past year and got a room for $80 per night, about 70 miles away.
One of the people going this year said he was now able to mark this item off his "Bucket List". These tickets are one of the most sought after sporting event tickets in the world.
We are listing this in Senior Insurance because this is our major thrust, but it really could be listed in General Insurance, Life Insurance, Insurance Offers, etc. Go to our website and we have a "Term Calculator" listed, and offer many companies with large UL, Whole Life, and Term Policies. Some of the companies we represent are not shown yet on our website.
We have quite a few IMO contracts that we need to keep, and as we all know some parts of the business are fairly slow. So, let us know what you want or need, and let's talk or email.
Why I am listing this contest/drawing on here is to not only let everyone know about the contest we are having, but to solicit help with the rules. Any thoughts on the rules will be greatly appreciated, and we may use your ideas.
So far, here is what we have come up with:
1. You must be one of our contracted agents to qualify. Contracting with any of our companies through us is required. Our MGAs or GAs downline agents qualify for entry into the drawing.
2. This is a potential prize for writing agents only. MGAs and GAs can offer this as a perk to their contracted agents. No agent having less that $10,000 annual volume (and a minimum of 10 policies) in life insurance, or at least 10 Medicare Supplements or Medicare Advantage Plans will be entered into the drawing. For each $10,000 of Net Paid Production Life Insurance Annual Volume or 10 Medicare Supplements or Medicare Advantage Plans, we will put one chance for the writing agent in the drawing.
3. Consolation prizes will be offered for the next names being drawn out as follows: $500, $400, $300, $200, $100.
4. Agents MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING with their MGA or GA (if any), with us, and with all companies they represent through us to qualify for any prize. The main problem we are speaking of here is Debit Balances.
5. There will be NO COMMISSION CUTS to pay for these prizes. We will still be able to offer top commissions, $50 Cash Bonus for the agents first life case over $25/month written with any of our companies, $100 Cash Bonus for the 5th issued and paid policy every month over $25/month. We will also continue to offer subsidized Exclusive Final Expense lead mailings at $319/1000 (maximum 2000 at a time), as long as an adequate amount of business comes our way from the leads.
This is what we have so far. Does anyone have any more ideas that would make this more appealing or see rules we have come up with that are too restrictive or won't work or rules/ideas you would like to see? We plan to have it finalized by June 1, 2009.
