Funding the Exchanges?

Actually, they aren't gullible at all. I was in the Michigan store yesterday myself and was charged the medical excise tax on my deli purchase. If anyone has read the info on the new tax, it is for manufacturers/producers/importers of medical devices, not a general tax on sales for everyone across the board. Not sure when a sandwich is considered a medical device though, lmao.

No matter, it is a glitch in the system...anyone with a receipt can call their customer service and get it refunded.

found them on the net......

Then it must be true.

I just made one up for a $85000 diamond ring and left it on the floor for my wife to see

What if she thinks you bought this for another woman?

Or man . . . .

The medical device tax applies to gross sales of all items sold by the company . . . including items that are not medical devices.

And it is 2.3%, not 2.9%.

So I should no longer buy sandwiches at Bob's Discount Subs and Durable Medical Supplies Emporium?

Bob needs to make a business decision. Subs or crutches, but not both.

Is Time Out Deli still in business? Love their hot, steamed subs.

Are you referring to Gus's on the strip? Also, I'm on the other side of the state now.

But I always loved the burgers there.

Kirby, may have been one on the strip, and another on Clinton Hwy. The one I went to most was on Broadway in Ftn City across from Stevens Drugs.

So you are no longer in K-town?

So, you're saying the anti venom or stitch kit that Cabela's sells, requires them to charge the tax on ALL items sold at Cabela's?
