How is Oscars going? :)

As US life insurance market is more mature than Australian, decided to join your forum to get more insights and ideas how to prosper in this niche.

Cheers,

Welcome Tomas, I think we all would be interested in learning about selling insurance in Australia.

Although I have not traveled there yet, Australia is very high on my "have to go to soon" list.

One thing that is interesting is that the Australians have a universal health care system....called........(brace yourself)..................Medicare.

Welcome.

Is there any developed, post-industrial, civilized nation on the planet that does NOT have a universal health system... with the exception of the USA?

Let's go one step at a time. The government is currently in the process of buying a house for everyone in the State of California and buying down your deficit from your last three decades of expenses related to what you think everyone should have. I am sure that once that process is completed we can go back to the plan to provide free health care, and I assume that that means for Mexico as well in the California tradition.

Obama is going to cut the deficit in half by 2012 though. That should help.

I have a dumb question to ask.

How do "you" save money; when "you" spend more than you have?

The italicized you is a generic pronoun representing any gov't entity that thinks they can do anything efficiently enough to save money.
